Synopsis
At a time when the Western population is ageing and cognitive disorders such as Alzheimer’s are on the rise, how should we rethink the care of the elderly? More broadly, how should we approach our relationship with old age? The Montessori method, originally recognised for promoting children’s development at school, is proving particularly well-suited to older people. More than just a tool, it represents a genuine shift in perspective on ageing, bringing about a revolution in care practices.
