Trance: a new therapeutic path

Written and directed by Cécile Denjean

Synopsis

For thousands of years, humans have used trances to heal the body and mind. Today, these non-ordinary states of consciousness fascinate scientists.
Whether induced by psychedelic substances or other techniques, trances allow us to access an expanded consciousness and heal certain psychiatric disorders such as depression, addictions, OCD, or post-traumatic stress syndromes. Their study takes us to the heart of the complexity of the human mind.
