The amazing story of Adélaïde H, a born resistant

Written and directed by Daniel Cling

SYNOPSIS

Adélaïde Hautval is a free woman, a born resistance fighter who devoted her life to serve others and refused any dishonorable behavior. Born in 1906 in Alsace, she became a psychiatrist, and is sent to Auschwitz during World War II as a “friend of the Jews”. Back in France, she will defend humanity values that she was placing above all. Her commitment will led her to be the first Alsatian personnality to be "Righteous Among the Nations", the highest honour of the State of Israel. Through the places she has been, her writings and some overwhelming testimonies, the film brings us into the heroic life of this outstanding woman.
